For the optional theme of "Geometric" I found this cube on my desk in the living room. Not sure whether it can be called cube.
It is a 3x3x3 Pentagonal Speed Cube Dodecahedron, also called Megaminx, based on the Rubik Cube.
I don't know how hard this is, but you can learn to solve it quite easily (IMHO easier than the regular Rubik Cube).
